Mississippi born and raised, I moved to Atlanta to study Communication Design at the Atlanta College of Art before heading to Chicago to chase my dreams of working for one of Chicago’s iconic candy companies. I ended up in agency life in Chicago and was able to work with more iconic brands than I could have ever imagined. After years in the CPG world and way too many winters, I finally traded snow boots for cowboy boots in 2015 and made my way to Austin, where the sun shines golden and the margaritas are always flowing. Austin also introduced me to digital design and the tech world, which turned out to be more fun than I would have expected.

I’ve worked on so many amazing brands throughout my career, and despite how different each project has been, they all share the same goal: creating work that truly connects with people.

But enough about work. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me exploring hidden gems, state fairs, dive bars, and ghost towns, that’s my love language. I have a soft spot for jukeboxes, a mild obsession with the 1970s, and a lingering wish that I could have danced at Studio 54 for just one night. I also have a deep love for all creatures great and small, especially dogs.

Other than that, if I weren’t in this field, let’s just say I’d make a damn good homicide detective.
